Well, I didn't expect to get an e-mail like this from Twitter today. And, I surely wasn't expecting it twice!
Hi,
Did you forget your Twitter password? It happens to the best of us. Please open the following link in your browser.
(provided link)
This will reset your Twitter password. Then, you can login and change it to something you'll remember. Hint: create a password with a mix of letters and numbers so it's more secure.
Thanks,
p.s. We sent you this note because your username or email address was entered into the "forgot password" field. If you didn't forget your password, don't worry, we'll keep it safe for you.
Who tried to get on my account? :)

That is scary. Are you sure the email was from twitter?. Did you click on the link? I can't understand why anyone would want to hack into someone else's Twitter acct. The only peronal info there is yr email address isn't it.? Apart from sending Tweets that are not really from you what else could they do? (I've asked other people and they don't know either so its not just me being stoopid...lol)
I got an email like that once from my husbands bank asking ME to update our info. I am not the primary account holder...so I was concerned. It was a scammer. Scary stuff!!
I've had a few of these type of things from banks recently asking for my details,i'm not with any of the banks that these are supposed to be from so thankfully not fell for this scam but wonder how many people have without thinking if it's not their bank.
That is scary. A few months ago, somebody hacked into my facebook page. I had to change my password. There's only two Donald Osmonds. You and your father. Who's the third?
I occassionally get emails from paypal or ebay and I send them to spoof@ and they are never the real deal. SCARRY indeed.
It's a shame some people don't have lives of their own. What could possibly be gained by hacking a twitter account. . .idiots!
